The episode focuses on Effy’s time at home and the private school she was put in after her drug abuse in the previous series. With her father on a business trip in France, her mother’s major depressive order and Tony coming to terms with his personality, she becomes the self-appointed parent of the house. At school, she is tasked with completing art coursework or being expelled. She is also asked to mentor Pandora Moon, a new girl to the school. She gradually warms to Pandora, despite being a loner. Sid and Michelle have broken up, and Tony demands Sid to get her back for him. Yet Sid has troubles of his own as Cassie is sleeping around with men and women, completely disregarding Sid’s existence. Effy agrees to help Sid if he can do the art coursework which he eventually does through alcohol and expressing his inner emotions. In the meantime Effy buys dope and attends a nightclub to sell the weed with Pandora and Tony. She sells the watch Tony gave Michelle for her birthday to be repaired, despite Tony’s belief it had been sold for money. A boy called Jake helps with this and is promised sex in return, Effy then sends him to Cassie where he is arme with knowledge of how to appeal to Cassie. Effy photographs them kissing by the window and posts the pictures around Sid who awakes seeing the photographs and confronts Cassie personally. She expresses disgust at his relationship with Michelle, but he counters by saying Cassie was not there for him when his dad died, but Michelle was. He then states he always loved Cassie and not Michelle. This leads to them getting back together. In the meantime, Michelle, who receives a repaired watch from Tony with the words “forever” wrote on the back, confesses she loves Tony when he rings her. At school Effy doesn’t use Sid’s artwork he created for her, but explains to her teacher that her GCSE Art coursework is conceptual, in which she used an array of emotions — referring to her recent experiences helping others mend their relationships. At the end of the episode Effy’s father arrives home to a clean house, and his wife in a elegant state, all presumably done by Effy.
